Lynda Attaway
Hi! I’m Lynda, and I’m passionate about process, efficiency, and functionality. Understanding how things work and are built is my obsession, and Bevy is a dream come true because it combines everything I love into one place.
I grew up in a family of engineers, surrounded by construction talk at the dinner table. Exploring build sites as a 7-year-old was my idea of fun! That early exposure to buildings and problem solving led me down the path to become a computer and electrical engineer. Following college, I dove headfirst into the corporate world. From aerospace to marine biology to hedge funds industries, I’ve tackled it all and thrived on solving complex problems.
Fast forward a few years, with an MBA in hand, I ventured into startups, focusing on finance, operations, and engineering. I was honored to be a founding member of Sunnova, a billion-dollar solar and energy services company headquartered in Houston. As the founding COO, I led the launch and development of the engineering, IT, and operations teams, growing our operations across 23 states and U.S. territories and overseeing more than 50,000 installations.
Now with Bevy, I’m thrilled to bring all these skills together and bring them home to create beautiful spaces and provide relief and support to families across Houston.
Carissa Janeway
Hey there! I’m Carissa, and I’m passionate about people and how they interact with the spaces around them. My love language is enhancing families’ lives by transforming their homes to meet their needs and desires.
As a kid, I was constantly rearranging my bedroom furniture, searching for the perfect flow. I’d “shop” the rest of the house for art and décor to create the right vibe to match my teenage moods. Once, my family found me in the basement painting all our dining room chairs because I thought they needed a glow-up (though my mom didn’t quite agree!).
Today, that passion drives me to continually learn about products, color, and form, and how they shape the way we live and interact with our spaces. This expertise is what I’m excited to share with you.
I thrive on connecting with clients, identifying their pain points, and crafting solutions through layout, flow, furniture, colors, textures, organization, and lighting. My goal is to truly understand our clients and tap into their unique styles and desires, allowing Bevy to intentionally curate each design and bring our client’s vision to life.
